Hi there,

Thanks for your post and CONGRATS on your 730 GMAT and 50 in Quant! That is excellent and no, I do not think you need to re-take... you are already above the average score at all business schools around the world ;). So that means that you've demonstrated that you can handle the academic rigor of b-school, and the admissions committee will next focus on the rest of your profile and application when making that decision.

Overall I believe you have a strong profile.

Strengths include:

-GMAT
-schools are always looking for qualified female candidates, which I would say you are
-project management and general involvement in initiatives & activities
-construction industry slightly less common
-non-work-related interests and experiences as you've detailed

Potential weaknesses:
-only 2 years of work experience.... most MBA students have 5 on average. Would you have 3 by the time you started? Would be better than 2. Doesn't negate your chances but it does mean 1) you need to address 'why NOW' is the best time for you to go, and 2) you need to show that the quality of your work experience surpasses the quantity

Unknowns:
-during your work experience: leadership? teamwork? people management? communication skills? scenarios where you've made an impact, results contributed to? etc. All important within an application
-essays/recommendations/interview
-your goals (very important in b-school apps too!)

I would say that you can apply to 1-2 top 10 as reach schools if you are interested in them; I wouldn't rule out your chances their if you really put together a strong application and compelling ESSAYS (so important... the essays are where you show who YOU are as a person and why you want this degree!). Then aim to apply to 1-4 schools outside top 10 , looking at programs that you could see yourself at and/or that work well for your goals.

Good luck and please keep us posted on questions and what you decide!
