Thanks for posting. Have you considered trying the GMAT again at all? It would help with your application certainly, as ideally you want to be at or close to a school's average GMAT score for best chances of admission. Schools take the highest score so it's common to take it more than once.
Admissions is a holistic process where admissions committees take into account everything about your profile.... your professional experience and accomplishments, academics, leadership and management experience or potential, involvement in the community, passions/interests/activities, recommendations, essays, interview, etc.
Feel free to share more of your profile info or let us know what other q's you have. Finally be sure your explanation for why you've chosen your given career goals flows.... basically that you can explain why you want the MBA, what you'll do with it, and how you'll use your past experiences and skills in your future career.
