Hello Ron / Stacey
I had posted these question on a thread before but havnt gotten any reply - my exam is day after so it will be great if you can ans these:
Can you pls explain what/who is the subject of this sentence:
"Less than 35 years after the release of African honeybees outside Sao Paulo, Brazil, their descendants, popularly known as killer bees had migrated as far north as Southern Texas." ?
Am trying to understand whether the subject is "the release of African honeybees" or "honeybees"?
I was also wondering whether "who" can only be used for Singular and Living - can "who", for example, refer to "tribes" (Nonliving and plural)?
Thanking you in advance...and awaiting your response (hope the sentence is correct parallelism) :)
Thanks a ton!
