Reflexive pronouns questions

by maxnec Sun Oct 28, 2012 3:21 am

A example:
Bill Clinton will be sitting at this table with my husband and myself.

This is just "WRONG".

If so, it should be amended to
#1 Bill Clinton will be sitting at this table with my husband and I.
or
#2 Bill Clinton will be sitting at this table with my husband and me.

Anyone knows that answer?
thanks.

get rid of the "my husband and", and it will be clear that the required word is "me"..

Thanks Tim!

Another question:
1. One of the zoo's foxes escaped from its cage.

May I change this sentence to
1. One of the zoo's foxes escaped from one's cage.

Because I think that one & it refer to the same thing, a fox, am I right?
