Relevance of IR for Current Senior

by MichalM28 Fri Dec 19, 2014 5:46 pm

I am a current undergrad senior, and I have been studying for the GMAT in case I want to attend an MBA program in about 4 years. Based on what I have read, I have learned that for current applicants the IR section is not all that important, and a score of 5 is sufficient for a top 10 program.

However, since I will be applying in 4 years, should I spend more time on the IR section, since it may be more important in the admissions process at that point?

On the flip side, will the IR section remain relatively irrelevant or the admissions committee not weigh the IR score as much since I took it 4 years before my application?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It's a great question, and I'm really not qualified to give an answer. This is a great question to ask an MBAMission representative; here is MBAMission's forum: ask-an-mbamission-admissions-consultant-f8.html

I'm sure that they will be happy to help!
