Resume Doubt

Hi,

I am working at Cognizant as a contract employee, through a staffing company known as "Volt". I was wondering whether I should show Volt or Cognizant as my employer on my resume. Though I get my salary through Volt, that's the only interaction I have with them. I work at a cognizant office in USA.

Any guidance on accepted norms would be appreciated.

Hi Nehag,

I think Cognizant would be OK to list. You may want to included a note that your employment there is via Volt.

Good thought, but what do you think is your problem with a CV? Maybe you submit it to the wrong company? You know I mean, such employers always exit. Meaning that you must be young and just after college but already with MBA and 30 years of experience. Have you came across such a thing?
