Retake GMAT after the application deadline

by pee_be9 Wed Dec 16, 2009 2:05 pm

Suppose that I retake the GMAT 1 month after the deadline of Round 1 application, the round in which I submitted the application, and submit the improved GMAT score to the admission officer. Will my application package be automatically considered in the next round?

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question for each school. I would think that yes, it would automatically roll over to Round 2 - as long as the schools knew to evaluate you in Round 2 and not in Round 1. They won't evaluate you in R1, and then get your new GMAT score and evaluate you again. So as long as you contact the school early after your submission and ask the m to roll you into R2, it should be fine.

But please check with each school because each has its own policies.

Good luck.
