You have to site the source of the Q, other wise your Q could be deleted.
I am also interested in the response from Tutors.
But if you don't post the Source you will never have a response :)

The main issue seems to be between
( knowing that "large amount" is wrong )

[1] will hopefully prove
[2] hopefully will prove

Is it wrong in [2] to put "will" in between adverb ( hopefully ) and the verb it modifies ( prove ) ??
I have learned to be careful when GMAT shifts the modifiers.

Tutors kindly advice !!

Hi,
This question is from one of sources, which are not allowed.

I just read the guidelines for this forum.

So I would request the MGMAT forum moderator to please delete the question from here.
My sincere apology for the same.

Thanks

Thanks manojeet.c for for letting me know about it.

Thanks for self-policing! Yes, we had to delete the original post (where was that question from, by the way?), as you say it is from a banned source.

As for the issue of "hopefully will prove" vs. "will hopefully prove," both are incorrect. The "brief therapy" does not prove anything "in a hopeful way." We use the word "hopefully" in speech a lot, but I would beware of it on the GMAT. "It is hoped" is better; here, the antecedent of the word "it" is actually the idea of the sentence itself. In fact, we could construct the sentence as: "It is hoped that brief therapy..."

Hope that's of some help!
