SC: "Original Meaning" always first sentence?

by KonstantinW105 Wed Nov 22, 2017 10:36 am

I have read so much conflicting information on the "original meaning" of a sentence for Sentence Correction problems. To my understanding, answer choices are randomly shown, so what is in "A" does not reflect the true meaning of a sentence any more than the rest of the answer choices do. Can anyone confirm or deny this (based on how the actual test does it)? Thanks!

Yes, it's incorrect to think that answer A has some sort of hegemony over the meaning; as you say, it's just a random choice. Check out this post here: https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/foru ... ml#p126532
