Sentences starting with prepositions

Hi,
is it correct to assume that sentences starting with prepositons are generally wrong in the GMAT?

For instance:
With a decrease of 10% ...

Furthermore as a non-native speaker it is sometimes really dificult to know when to use which prepostion. e.g. of, for etc.
Is there somewhere a good reference regarding GMAT Usage of Common Prepositions? Common traps etc.? (For instance it seems that FOR and OF are often interchanged).

No, it is not safe to assume that sentences starting with preposition are wrong. Don't assume it please. One can create many sentences starting with prepositions.

e.g.

With two small kids at home, Willy doesn't have much time for GMAT preparation.

On the last page of MGMAT book is a list of important topics.

Both WITH and ON are preposition and these sentences are correct.

Thanks Willy. As for learning prepositions, you just have to get used to how they are used in sentences. There is no quick fix for this, and it just takes extensive practice..
