I was surprised when I didn't even receive a interview call from any of the colleges I applied in 2009. I am again planning to apply to the colleges mentioned above. Please guide me as to how can I improve my candidature to the school mentioned above. Wheather I should again give the GMAT to improve my score. Will a score of 720 make a difference for me, giving that the avg. GMAT score of all the colleges I intend to apply is in 700-710 range and I belong to India, where the number of applicants are very high.
Kindly guide me.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. I’m not sure that the GMAT was your problem. My guess is that you had another issue in your application. Of course, if you think that you can improve your score to a 720 that will certainly help, but it is no guarantee of admission. It may be that your essays did not convey your strengths in the best way or perhaps you didn’t select the experiences that showcased your leadership and accomplishments. Of course, I cannot know this for sure unless I read your application. We do offer ding reviews. If that is something that you are seriously considering, you can sign up for a free consultation www.mbamission.com/consult.php.
