suggest which school i should apply

hello
My gmat score is 690 (V-35, Q-49, WA-4.0).
I want apply for 1 year mba program. Can someone suggest me some colleges I should apply and in which colleges I have good chances of getting scholarship?

Indian"(female 25)
B.tech in Mechanical engineering (2007-2011) CGPA : 8.6/10
2 yr 6 months of service till dec 2013 as a design engineer in a MNC.
I created a business opportunity for an NGO.
Post MBA i want to come back to india. After 3-4 years consultancy experience and pay back of study loan I want to start my own venture thats why scholarship is important.

Hi there,

Thanks for posting. For a one-year program, there are fewer in the US, but you could look at Marshall, Katz, Emory... there's Kellogg & Johnson which might be slightly more in the 'reach' category for you but if determined you could add one to your list. You can do a search for one year MBA programs for ideas. In Europe there are many options as well.

In terms of scholarships however, it's tougher to advise. First of all, scholarships for b-school are generally limited, and often awarded to the very top applicants. Secondly, most MBA students finance their education through low-interest rate loans paid off by post-MBA salaries, over 5-15 years or so. You can certainly contact schools and more general organizations for scholarship info of course, but just want to be realistic.
