This refers to the bubble graph question in GMATPrep Software 2.1 Question ID: IIR000829

I still do not understand why have they divided the sales figures by the proportion of all Techtyx's transaction in that region to arrive at the average transaction value.

Please could you elaborate and explain in a simplified manner ?
