the number of IR questions in the test

how many IR questions are there in the real test? I heard there are supposed to be 12. But according to my experience in solving the 50 IR questions in OG13, there is no way for me to finish 12 quesitons and provide quality answers within 30 minutes.

Yes, there will be 12 questions in IR on GMAT. Assuming one of the bigger prompts (MSR) has 3 questions, there will be 10 prompts. I have not looked into OG questions, but looking at mba.com samples and Manhattan ones I agree with you on the timing. It's tough :(
