To Score 40 and above in Verbal

by anshu1223 Fri Jan 09, 2009 7:46 pm

I am scoring between 33-35 in Verbal. I need to get more than 40. Can somebody please answer in order to score 40+ in Verbal generally how many number of questions do I have to get right out of 41 questions? An answer to this questions could be a big help in preparation.
Thanks

The score you get is not entirely depend on the number of the questions you get right or wrong. It also depend on the difficulty level of the questions you get wrong and where in sequence that you get the questions wrong.

I agree with the previous poster, but I want to add a bit more info for clarity: you should not think of any group of questions as more important than any other group (the first ten versus the last ten, etc.), as they all weigh more or less equally.

In order to improve, you should target your specific weak areas: first, find out what they are; then, brush up on your rules and recognition of those rules; third, practice putting your new knowledge to work on actual problems.
