Hi Stacey,

Thanks for compiling this list for us!

Just wanted to check in to confirm if this list is up to date, since it's been over 6 months since the last update.

Thanks!
K

Thanks for asking! Yes, it's still accurate. I've just updated the "last updated" date on the post. :)

Thanks for asking! Not much has changed but I did just make two updates. I changed "odd and even" to "some odd and even" (not as common as the other number property categories listed). I also moved RC Main Idea to the end of the list; the first two types listed are more common than main idea.

Hi! I'm actually putting the date right at the top of the list itself when I edit it, so check that date, not the date of my last post in the thread. I last updated in August and that information is still good now. :)

Good luck!

Hello Stacey

Thanks for this, super helpful!

As last post its circa 6 mo old I was wondering if its still up to day? D day in 7 days and want to review main topics at the same time than polishing test taking strategies!

Thanks,

Thanks for asking!

Just updated. The only thing I changed was to add the "Also" note at the end of quant. Everything else is the same.

Good luck!!

Stacey,

Are the frequencies of topics tested that you said were valid as of March 22, 2018 still valid today? And do these relate to the new version of the GMAT as well?

Thank you!

Good question!

They have not changed the balance of what they test—the frequencies should still be the same relative to each other. For instance, teachers would typically tell me that they saw between 3 and 6 (inclusive) geometry questions on the exam—and that number range is lower than the numbers I'd hear for algebra, for example. The numbers of both will go down, so proportionally, it'll still be the case that geo is less frequently tested than algebra.

We'll of course test this out over time to be sure, but so far our teachers who've taken the new exam have reported no surprises.

And, yes, the frequencies currently listed / as of March are accurate. Good luck on your test!

Hi Stacy,
Is the list you updated in May, 2018 still accurate? Thank you.
