typo in application

i noticed a small typo in an application I already submitted to a top 10 school. is that an automatic ding? just a small typo, but now I am really concerned.

While your typo is unfortunate, the schools know that they happen. If you are an individual of great promise, they will accept you anyway, recognizing that the sum of the parts far outweighs a typo.

I noticed a typo on my self submitted transcript after submitting it. Not on any of the grades, but I had dates wrong on two classes. It clearly was typo based on the header.
