Uasge of HAVING

by vishalc581 Tue Nov 10, 2015 8:43 am

Can you please explain how GMAT uses:

1) HAVING

2) HAVING BEEN

3) HAVING + PAST PARTICIPLE

Also, please explain why below sentence is wrong?

Aero engines burn as much as 40 percent less fuel than Petrol engines of comparable size, as well as emit far less Methane gas and far fewer of the other gases having been implicated in global warming.
Thanks & Regards,
Vishal

hi,
please ask this question in the context of a specific GMAT-related item.

yes, this folder is called 'general GMAT verbal questions'.
but, here, 'general' does not mean 'random questions'. rather, 'general' just means 'this folder is a catch-all for sources other than MPrep and GMAT Prep'.

thanks.

clearly you did not make this sentence up yourself.

so, you need to provide...
...a citation of the original source
...the complete problem as originally written, including all answer choices

please read the forum rules before posting!
thank you.
