* you didn't quote the source of the problem. every problem in this folder MUST have a cited source.

* this problem is from the official guide.
we can't use official guide problems on this forum, per the express request of gmac. therefore, i've deleted it.

* if this problem is also in the free GMAT PREP software, then we can use it.
if that's the case, please re-post this thread in the GMAT PREP Verbal folder. Also, in this case, please include a screenshot of the problem from the software.

This is not a fair question. You can't just post a problem and say, "Explain everything". (If you post something like this, the most appropriate answer is "Please go look at the answer key.")

So -- if this problem appears in the GMAT PREP software and you decide to re-post this -- please ask specific questions about specific things that you didn't understand. We can't explain "every wrong answer"; that's why GMAC has been kind enough to provide answer keys.
