"Do" isn't necessary there. The sentence would be fine without it.

Also, a single extra two-letter word hardly constitutes "wordiness". "Wordiness" comes from unnecessary phrasings of significant length. E.g., perform stretching exercises rather than stretch.

Much more importantly, you should NEVER, EVER try to decide whether a SINGLE CHOICE is "wordy".
If you are going to think about "wordiness", you should think about it strictly in RELATIVE terms"”i.e., by comparing answer choices to one another.
In other words, you are never trying to decide whether individual answer choices are "wordy". You might try to decide whether choice #1 is significantly wordier than choice #2.
