usage of Modifiers

by cgupta1982 Mon Jun 04, 2012 3:26 pm

Hello All :

I am having hard time in dealing with modifiers . I would like to know details about usage of "that/which" VS usage of "ing" vs usage of prepositional modifier.

I am trying OG12 question # 126 . I understand OG questions cannot be discussed , but can someone provide approach towards such questions.

the GMAT has some strange rules for dealing with relative pronouns versus -ing words, and you should refer to the modifiers chapter of our SC guide for a full explanation. in 126, all five answer choices lead off with a noun modifier, so you should first decide whether each modifies the noun in front of the underlined part..
