Use of "if"

Hi,

I thought, according to my notes, that whenever I saw an "if" in a sentence it had to be accompanied with a "then" in the same sentence. Is this correct?

In problem 14 of the OG 13 the correct answer choice includes an "if" without the corresponding "then".

Your second paragraph answers the question in your first paragraph.
