using a gerund vs. infinitive

hey,
does aanyone have a list of verbs that a gerund is better used after them, rather than the infitive -( such as I like eating and NOT I like to eat) ?

unfortunately, no, we don't have such a list.

this is one of those times when google is your best friend. i just typed "gerund infinitive" into google and got LOTS of pages with such lists. some of them even have exercises.
