Very low verbal score on actual test after high CAT scores

I had been consistently scoring 40 plus on the verbal section of the CAT's and got a very low 33 yesterday on the actual test.

I did better in Quant which I thought was my weakness!! (44)

I scheduled to take again in 30 days, but want to make sure I have the right study approach to increase my verbal score....


Any thoughts?

Hi,
This is the wrong folder for questions about study strategies; such questions should be posted in the General GMAT Strategy folder.

When you post in that folder, you'll have to give specifics for us to be able to give any sort of meaningful response.
I.e., "My practice test scores were X, but my official score was Y" doesn't contain anything that we could evaluate or critique. What have been your strongest and weakest areas? What seemed to go well (or not well) on the official test? How have you been preparing? Etc.
