Weaken and Strengthen the conclusion questions

by mobenny Sun Mar 29, 2009 11:08 pm

Should I diagram for these types of questions? The strategy guide only discusses the "w" and "s" approcah for the answer choices, but it says nothing about diagramming. And if so, should I use the standard diagram or a different diagram?

Thanks,

Moses

Yes, you should diagram all Critical Reasoning questions. You might vary your diagram a bit depending on the type of question.

For example, Weaken the Conclusion questions often focus on undermining/disproving a certain assumption, so it would make sense to be hyper-sensitive to assumptions for those.

On a similar note, Draw a Conclusion questions often require you to analyze the given data, so be hyper-sensitive to numbers that are given.
