Which school should I apply?

by breathofwind2003 Tue Jan 22, 2013 11:12 am

Hello,
I'm from Vietnam, female and I have a Bachelor of Economics.
My GPA in VN is 7.82/10' probably equivalent to 3.2/4
I am taking a GMAT this weekend and expect to score around 600-650 (too bad because I only had 1 month to practice)
I have 3 years working as an auditor at KPMG vietnam.
Can anyone help suggest me with some B-school that I can apply? i want to take the master of management or MBA at an accredited school but the tuition fee should be around $20,000. US, Canada or European school is good for me. I also want to find scholarship so is there any chance for me to get one?

Thank you very much!

Hello,

Thanks for sharing your profile. Could you tell me more about what you are looking to do post-MBA/why you feel you need an MBA? There are hundreds of programs to choose from, so it's quite difficult to say which ones you should apply to without knowing more about what you want in a program.

Really, I would advise you to research programs by looking at various ranking lists first. Given your profile, you'll be targeting lower tier 1 and tier 2 programs. Look at these schools, research and see which appeal to you and which meet your financial/location and other criteria. This should give you a list of programs to do deeper research into. At that point, once you have a 'short list' of programs you are considering, I can be more helpful.

Good luck,
Mili
