You are more interesting than he

by ParthJ26 Fri Dec 08, 2017 7:46 am

Dear Instructors,

Hi.

6th Edition MGMAT SC Guide Pg 101

1. You are more interesting than he. CORRECT.

X = You. subject pronoun

Y = he. subject pronoun.

2. You are more interesting than him. IS THIS SENTENCE CORRECT?

Or is it incorrect because YOU is a subject pronoun and HIM is an object pronoun?

Thanks

Clearly your example is fine: it's the way most of us use English! You're just likely to see sentences similar to our example in the GMAT.
