Would framing be recommended for this game? The best frame I can see is put P=5 and P=2 but nothing seems to be implicated. When P=2, we know m=1 and that leaves KJ chunk with 3 more options. When P=5, M can go anywhere as long as it is before P=5 which does not help much and KJ is open ended?

My Big Pause/upfront inferences: O floats. Priority is the KJ block and if P=2 or P=5. Conditional L3--->N5 is an 'annoying' rule to watch out for in different hypothetical as it may be triggered or te contrapositive does.

For this game, I solved it mainly through guess and check , especially Q8,9,and Q10. I am not sure if there was a smarter way to do the problem where there were up front inferences that allow you to answer the latter questions up front instead of going just plugging in the choices , especially for Q10 and, to a lesser extent, Q9. Guess and check took me just under 7 mins but the game felt pretty 'shaky' in that I was just checking the game board and on review I don't think there is much to do differently up front

Sorry for the delayed response on this one …,

My rule of thumb for “Should I frame?” is this:
1. Is there a Chunk w/ 2-4 options? (if so, I’ll probably frame them unless the chunk is reversible)

2. Is there some 2 or 3 way divide that would trigger other stuff?

There IS a chunk, but it has six options.
There ARE some 2 way splits (P is 2 or 5), (L is 3 or not 3), but they don’t seem to trigger much.

So I would probably skip framing.

(If you like framing and you’re comfortable setting them up quickly and then bailing as soon as they don’t yield fruit, then you could definitely go for one of the either/ors.

P = 2
M P _ _ _ _ _

P = 5
_ _ _ _ P _ _
....~L

-------other possible frames----------

L = 3
__ P L __ N __ __

(this tells us that P is 2, and thus M is 1, that KJ will only fit in 6/7, and thus that O is the only thing left for spot 4)
So this frame looks like this: M P L O N K J

L ≠ 3
__ __ __ __ __ __ __
……..~L
