This game is sort of tricky, but the most complicated part about it is how little room they give us to operate the game!

It's doable, but you have to be conscientious about your utilization of space.

Good luck!

Does Rule1 mean that at least one grant is awarded in each of the area? Thank you.

Just a quick question regarding how to approach this efficiently:

I actually ran out of time doing this game (I rarely run out of time for games). I don't know if I mismanaged time in the beginning or just this game, but is there a faster way to go through 18-23 instead of plug & chug?

I have the exact match of the diagram, but I couldn't x out any of the answers on first glance because the diagram is so bare.

Is there a better method to approach this game?

THANK YOU!

Hey Matt,

can you please tell me how you came up with the max amount of spots per quarter to be three?

I cannot figure it out.

Thanks!

If there were any more than 3 in a quarter, you would get at least 7 grants (since you need at least one grant in every quarter -- that's in line 4 of stimulus), and the maximum is 6, per Rule 2.

That's exactly right sge4 - nice work!

If there are at most 6 grants, if you were to assign the minimum number to all but one quarter (which is 1), that would leave you with 3 grants potentially remaining for the final quarter.

Why don't the distributions include 3 -1 -1 -1?

You could potentially have

(1) M (2) W (3) M (4) TYW

Please let me know!

Fabiola.delgado 12 is correct that 3111 is a possible distribution.
