I posted a setup for this one. It's a classic and there are a couple others very similar to this. I listed those in the slide attached.

Let me know if you need further help with this. But I think the setup should make all the difference.

I know this game is old but I just need a bit of clarification...

I have the rules written as:
Odd: 3-2, 5-4
Even 1-2, 3-4

For your response in question 20, I see you switched 3-2 for round 1 and 2-1 for round 2. Was this because they each were stated first in the rules? When I was attempting the game for some reason I automatically went to switching 54 and 43.....I know this is wrong, but was hoping you could explain how one would know to instantly go to 3-2 and 1-2. Thanks!!

Hi yahoo

Q20. ..., beginning with an odd-position round, and if the lower-positioned teams have won every match in those two rounds, ...

therefore, 1st round--> 2 v 3 and 2 won
2nd round--> 1 v 2 and 1 won

I am confused by the rules, specifically rule #2 that states:

In an odd-position round, teams in positions 3 and 5 play against teams positioned immediately above them?

I understood this to mean that 3 will play against 4 and 5 against who? since there is no team above 5. Please help. THis game is driving me nuts.

Can someone explain the rules please?
