How do you study?

I have a math exam in a couple of days, but I'm not motivated to study. I feel like I don't know how to. I've watched so many YouTube videos which all suggest I should try basic stuff like flashcards, pomodoro, create and visualize notes, schedule weeks before, but I hate flashcards and, as I said, it's in a couple of days. A friend of mine studies and gets As all the time and she doesn't reveal how she does it (I've asked her a couple of times).

Do you have any effective tips to study? Any help is appreciated!
