I felt A in its original form ( not negated ) would have broken the argument. The conclusion is stating the drug had no effect so (A) in its original form would have worked b/c it is stating that the drug would have had an effect? I thought if we negated the answer and it destroyed our conclusion that would be the correct one? I'm lost as to how A works here.
