Hi, can any of Manhattan prep experts share their thoughts on this question, please? I was especially struggling with A & E, still cannot justify the right answer.
Question Type: Authors' opinion, most likely to disagree
Pre-Phrase: none
== Answer Choices ==
(A) I believe the author of passage B disagrees with it in lines 45-48. I can't find a specific line in passage A which shows author's opinion on this, but I thought the passage overall implies that the truth depends on emotional vividness.
(B) Author of passage B does not mention this.
(C) Author of passage B does not mention this.
(D) Not mentioned in either passage.
(E) This is the right answer. I was able to find support for this only in Passage B: Lines 43-45, 52-56. What part of passage A suggests that the author disagrees with this statement?
Thank you!
