This is not quite an Orientation problem, since the answer choices are only partial scenarios.
But it's similar enough to an Orientation that we'd start off the same way: take one rule at a time and see if any answers break it.

Rule 1: this gets rid of (B), since Thursday has consecutive floors.

Rule 2: this gets rid of (A), since 8 appears before 2.

Rule 3: seems okay at first blush.

Rule 4: seems okay.

Rule 5: this gets rid of (C), since 4 is appearing on Wed.

So we're left with (D) and (E). My guess is that 3 - 7 - 5 will still come into play, but maybe it'll force consecutive numbers. We should write out (D) or (E) and put down who's left:

(D) 2, 6 | 4, 8 | __ __ | __ __ ...... who's left? 3 - 7 - 5, 1

This won't work! We need to get 3 - 7 - 5 on Friday / Saturday.

So (E) must be the answer. If we wanted a could be true to satisfy us, we could finish (E) off:
3, 6 | 2, 7 | __ __ | __ __ ...... who's left? 5, 8, 1, 6

They would all be legal in any spot.
