Yeah, that slide image is just messed up for several reasons, the most important one being that the wrong correct answer choice is circled.
B is the correct answer.
Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I'm gonna delete that trainwreck and get a fixed version up there soon.
That slide was grabbed from a presentation that eliminated other answer choices in other ways.
It started by asking "In our previous scenarios, who has been OUT?"
In Q18, we had this scenario:
LHF | K M/G | G/M
G or M could have been OUT. So we kill off any answers with G or M.
That gets rid of (D) and (E).
Next, we would investigate if K can be OUT.
However, here's what gets triggered if K is OUT.
~Kt --> (FHM)t --> ~Gs
We've got
__ __ | F H M | K
So if G can't go in s, then we don't have two people for s.
Since K can NOT be out, he must be in. We can eliminate (A).
Last thing to check is L. Can L be OUT?
If L is OUT, we trigger
~Lt --> ~Gs
Okay, so let's put G in t.
__ __ | G __ | L
Try to finish it off in a legal way.
FHM | GK | L
Looks good. L can be OUT. Eliminate (C) and pick (B).
Pretty tough grinder of a question there.
