My thought process for this problem:

A: doesn't preclude P and T from being taken with M; too broad; eliminate
B: This is correct!
C: S can also be taken with P; too narrow; eliminate
D: S can also be taken with T; too narrow; eliminate
E: negation; eliminate

The way I analyzed B, C, and D was to look at the original logic chain and figure out if there were any more classes than the ones that were listed in the answer choices that could be eligible to be taken with the class listed in the answer choice.

Hi,
I'm not sure why C and D can be eliminated because of S (as the previous author wrote).
To me it sounds like they can be eliminated because they would force MT and MPT on one side - not allowing for the possibility of M/PT being on different sides.
What role is S playing here?
