I think the related lines would be 24-25 (The narrator presents her story in a way that conforms with tribal expectations), but I also feel it contradicts line 12-18...("but are unconcerned with...how the individual perceives and responds to the demands and expectations...")
But both of them are written as life passage's characteristics, so I'm kind of confused... Are they saying the same thing?
Also for Q24, the psychological motivation would be "individual's choices or how the individual perceives and responds to the demands and expectations"...is this correct? Since it's about life passage and what it's not interested in...(but then back to Q23's confusion I have...)

So I've read a few of your question today, and I'd really encourage you not to mix and match questions (all of your questions today have smooshed multiple questions together). Every question is isolated, and has no relation to any other question. There should be no need to reference other questions in order to answer any given question, and there will never be a contradiction between questions.

As for lines, this is a question about very specific words, so the answer is usually just the definition of those words "prescribed roles" means roles that are predefined for someone. The only answer choice here that discusses predefined roles is (E).

If a narrative is describing predefined roles, then it isn't discussing the actual individual, so that doesn't conflict with lines 12-18.

But actually I'm still confused...So what line 12-18 says is prescribed role and 24-26 is individual's choice...?
Although the culture is not interested in how individual responds to their demand or expectation, individual choose to conform with their expectation?
Would appreciate if you can provide additional explanation...
