Can someone please explain why #25 is B or provide me with a line reference to support that answer? I can see why the other choices are not right, but why is B right?

In the last paragraph, we're told that "early black historians were themselves engaged in a sort of nation building" (43-45) ... "that posits a diasporic community, which, while lacking a sovereign territory ..." (52-53) etc.

So, nation building doesn't require sovereign territory.

For Q25, what's wrong with (E)? The language such as "entirely different events" does seem to be a bit too strong. But isn't it true that those historians（who employed a nationalist approach）focused on the "glorification of the nation" whereas those early African American historians focused on reconstructing a African past? Thanks!

You just said for yourself why (E) is wrong.

Yes, they focus on different things, we're told.

Yes, calling this "entirely different events" is way too extreme: we have no CLUE if they were entirely different events or not. In fact, there probably is some overlap in events because that would make sense.

As for the others:

(A) is never stated or implied.

(B) is correct.

(C) "of any kind?" Another extreme statement.

(D) "most prominent" isn't stated or implied (again, extreme).
