Q7

I'm confused as to why B is correct when you could go in the order of KIPNHOGL.

Thanks in advance

Hi bmoswald, I don't think that solution is true to the conditional question. Remember, Q7 tells us that G is first and I is third. From that the following hypothetical results:

Answer choice (B) could be false. N could go fifth. Each of the remaining answer choices must be true.

Hope that helps!

I thought that the correct answer should be (A): "K is the second valve opened."

However the correct answer noted in the answer sheet is (B). Answer B as rightly been disproven in prior posts.

Can anyone explain why the answer is listed in the Preptest book and solutions as (B) and NOT (A)?

The question stem says
"each of these must be true EXCEPT"
so 4 wrong answers - must be true
1 correct answer - doesn't have to be true / it's flexible / it could be otherwise

As shown in that scenario,
(A), (C), (D), and (E) all must be true.

K is def 2.
H is def 6.
O is def 7.
L is def 8.

(B) is correct because N is not necessarily 4th. It could be 5th.
